We got our first beef cow from Devan’s grandfather in 1973. Though she was blind in both eyes, she gave birth to several calves. We have raised cattle ever since. Over the past several years we have sold beef ready for the freezer by quarter, half or whole animal. Our previous customers have expressed their appreciation for being able to get their meat from a rancher they trust.
We raise our own cattle for our beef. This allows us to ensure that they are treated humanely from birth to table. Our cattle are grass fed and corn fattened for perfect marbling and the best taste.
We are not just ranchers, but husbands, wives, parents, grandparents, and business owners. We work from sunup to sundown, carpool, volunteer in community organizations, and attend church and school events just like you. We know how busy life can get, so we do our best to make your life a little bit easier…and tastier!
We are Devan and Kris Hubert from Dietrich, Idaho. We grew up in the same tiny town, and now we have 7 children! We were both raised on farms, and we wanted to raise our own family the same way. We can trace our roots through over 200 years of raising quality beef cattle and the formation of family-owned Black Iron Beef.
